I did not realize when I began writing A Song in My Heart that the story was about my mother. As the story developed, however, and after her passing in 2022, I realized her spirit was in every page. I hope this book speaks to her legacy of wisdom, love, and especially a life of faith. This story, inspired by my mother, has in turn, inspired my brother to write a song in the same name. I am excited to share this with thanks to my brother, Tom Dixon, and in honor of my mother, Mary Jo Dixon.
